Fixer Uppers

It is a rare event that either of these two get away from my house without working on something. Blessed to have them both love me well:)

Early Start

Believe it or not, we have already started doing a bit of school shopping. Mall night with my crew. I must say it is a lot better at the mall during the week than it is on a weekend for sure!

Busy Summer

Been doing a little of this and a little of that so far this summer. Took girls to the movies, get to enjoy lunch weekly with my man, celebrated Ann's birthday with some fun women, lots of swimming, enjoying my favorite purple blooms out back, and skating on dollar day at the skating rink! Hope you're enjoying your summer too:)

Band Night

We ventured out after 10pm (gasp!) to see a friend's band play at the local bar...umm I mean restaurant. Band was really good and I enjoyed the company too. Felt a bit weird sitting there with my son, but hopefully he recognizes that he isn't missing much at the "bar scene" lol.

Bingo Boy

One is granted just a few privileges when you turn 18. You can get sent to jail, go off to war, and you can play Bingo!! C opted for bingo night with his mom :) We didn't bring home any money on his voyage run at it, but there's always next time. We did have some fun though just hanging out. Just another intentional mom moment in the memory banks. His first bingo night, such a proud mommy moment lol.

Enjoying Dads

Few more pics from dad's day enjoying my people :)  We had a special surprise from my uncle David who came over for a visit.  David is my dad's brother who lives in Athens, GA.  Always good to see him.  As you can see, we wrapped up the day in Papa's pool and with a bit of yummy watermelon!

Father's Day

Spent the day with some of my favorite dads at a little car show at the church. Happy to see all the smiles and simply enjoy dads who truly do love their people well :)
